Lifestyle Fitness - Affordable classes for healthy living

Enjoy making your health a priority in 2007 in an affirming, noncompetitive environment! You get quality instruction at great prices.  No long term memberships or health club fees.  No previous exercise experience is needed. The workouts are designed with modifications and challenge levels so you can pick your own level.  Classes are also beneficial for dancers and athletes looking for cross training!  Give yourself the gift of health and your body will reward you with vitality and strength.

Winter/Spring Classes 2008

PILATES With AEROBICS: Aerobics, Pilates mat work, and Stretching – all in 1 hr. & 15 min!  This well rounded class strengthens core abdominals, arms, legs & glutes while building aerobic endurance and flexibility. Great for weight loss, muscle toning and overall health!  Bring a Pilates or yoga mat. Wear dry, supportive sneakers for aerobics, socks or bare feet for stretching & Pilates mat.
1 Class: Mondays 7:15 – 8:30pm

New!  PILATES With FITNESS BALL & HAND WEIGHTS: Strengthen and tone large muscle groups (abs, back, legs, arms, chest, glutes) and smaller stabilizer muscles simultaneously. The class is supportive on joints and helpful to your weight loss program.  Bring a Pilates or yoga mat, small hand weights (2 pounds or under), and a Fitness Ball (suitable for your height).  Dry sneakers, socks or bare feet are suitable.
1 Class:  Thursdays 6:10 – 7:10 pm

New!  MODIFIED YOGA:  Specially created for beginners of any age, seniors, and those with physical limitations!  This modified class (with the added aid of a chair if needed) enhances flexibility, balance, circulation, strength, joint mobility and agility.  It’s a great way to relieve stress! Proven to be beneficial for arthritis sufferers. Bring a Pilates or yoga mat.  Socks or bare feet are best, but dry sneakers are suitable.
1 Class:  Mondays 11am - 12

  Spring Session 1 4/21/08 – 6/2/08 (no classes 5/26)

Thursdays
  Winter Session 1 1/10/08 – 2/28/08 (no classes 2/14 or 2/21)
  Winter Session 2 3/6/08 – 4/10/08
  Spring Session 1 4/24/08 – 5/29/08

COST: $35.00 per session (only $5.83 per class). Classes run in six week sessions.
Total session payment is due by no later than first class and is nonrefundable.
Visitors and drops ins may attend class for $8.50 per class pending class size – call ahead.

Secure your place in class by advance payment. Classes run on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to a comfortable number for the studio space. Checks - payable to Julie Riling.  No credit cards accepted. There must be a minimum of 5 people registered per session per class to hold the class.

Lifestyle Fitness Director/Instructor:  Julie Riling earned a BS in Dance from SUNY Brockport.  Her dance degree studies included classes in somatics, kinesiology, anatomy/physiology, Pilates, yoga, injury prevention and dance techniques.
