Gain New Creativity!
These workshops are designed to boost your creativity and equip you with a wide range of fundamental tools and techniques used to create dance choreography. Good choreography is far more complex than stringing together dance movement. It’s an exciting compilation of many elements combined through a thoughtful process. Training and feedback are vital to every dancer desiring to create choreography with intent and meaning for their audience.
Each workshop will explore different key concepts through lecture, discussion, college level text, video, movement and personal feedback. We
create a positive and affirming environment where students are equipped with a wide range of fundamental tools – creative spring boards for developing their own dance works. Students may attend as many workshops as they desire, covering new topics each time. The material presented and the classroom applications will benefit dancers at all levels of training and experience. It is designed to assist all in finding new movement vocabulary, and new ways of thinking about the choreography process.
